We're Hiring: Performance Marketer at Talking Lands
We're building something big in the land and real estate space, and we need someone who can own marketing end to end.
We're looking for someone who actually gets how marketing drives revenue — someone who's comfortable setting up ad campaigns, reading the data, figuring out what worked and what didn't, and then doing it better the next week.
What you'll be doing
You'll be the go-to person for all things marketing. That means running paid campaigns across Google, Meta, and whatever else makes sense. Building and optimizing landing pages. Tracking performance down to the cost-per-lead level. Writing copy that doesn't sound like a robot. Working on SEO — doing keyword research, improving on-page optimization, building organic traffic over time, and making sure we actually rank for the stuff that matters. Testing things, breaking things, fixing things. Figuring out what to prioritize and then making it happen.
Some weeks you'll be deep in Google Analytics or a spreadsheet. Other weeks you'll be brainstorming a campaign idea on a whiteboard. That's the nature of a startup — you wear a lot of hats, and you're fine with that.
What we're looking for
Someone with 1–5 years of real marketing experience. You've actually managed ad budgets, not just studied them in a course. You know your way around Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, and SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Search Console. You can look at a dashboard and tell a story about what's happening. Bonus if you've worked with CRMs, email tools, or marketing automation platforms.
This role is a good fit if you
- Actually enjoy digging into campaign numbers and search rankings
- Have worked at (or genuinely want to work at) a startup or small company
- Can write clearly and don't default to jargon
- Take ownership — you don't wait around to be told what to do
- Are ambitious and want to grow into a leadership role as the company scales
This role is probably not for you if
- You need a lot of structure and hand-holding to get started
- You're only interested in one narrow slice of marketing
- You're looking for a slow-paced, predictable 9-to-5
