We're launching a D2C brand that challenges the outdated scrubs market with modern design, quality fabrics, and a brand that healthcare workers can be proud to wear.
This is a ground-zero opportunity — you'll be the first marketing hire building our paid acquisition engine from scratch.
The Role
We're looking for a self-driven Performance Marketer who will own our entire paid media strategy and execution across Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads. This isn't a campaign manager role — this is a strategic ownership role where you build, test, optimise, and scale our customer acquisition machine.
You'll work directly with the founder, have full autonomy over budget allocation and strategy, and be accountable for measurable business outcomes: ROAS, CAC, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
What You'll Own📊 End-to-End Paid Media Strategy
- Build from zero: Set up Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads accounts, pixel implementation, conversion tracking, and analytics infrastructure
- Strategic planning: Develop quarterly and monthly media plans aligned with revenue targets and product launches
- Budget management: Own monthly ad spend allocation across channels and campaigns
- Performance forecasting: Set realistic targets and build growth models based on industry benchmarks and test data
🎯 Campaign Execution & Optimization
- Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram): Launch and optimise prospecting, retargeting, and lookalike campaigns
- Test different ad formats: image, video, carousel, stories, reels
- Build and refine audience segments based on behaviour, demographics, and interests
- Implement proper funnel structure: TOF (awareness), MOF (consideration), BOF (conversion)
- Google Ads: Set up and manage Search, Shopping, Display, and YouTube campaigns
- Optimise for high-intent keywords targeting healthcare professionals
- Implement smart bidding strategies and budget pacing
- Build remarketing audiences across the Google network
- Testing & Iteration: Continuous A/B testing of ad creatives, copy, audiences, and landing pages
- Analyse test results and make data-backed decisions on what to scale or kill
- Document learnings and build a testing roadmap
📈 Analytics & Reporting
- Performance tracking: Monitor daily metrics (impressions, CTR, CPC, CPM, ROAS, CAC)
- Attribution analysis: Understand customer journey and multi-touch attribution
- Weekly/monthly reporting: Present clear insights on what's working, what's not, and what we should do next
- Dashboard management: Build and maintain performance dashboards in Google Analytics, Meta, or third-party tools
🎨 Creative Strategy & Direction
- Creative briefs: Provide detailed briefs to designers/creators on what ads we need and why
- Creative feedback: Review ad assets and give sharp, conversion-focused feedback on visuals and copy
- Trend monitoring: Stay on top of what's working in D2C and healthcare marketing, and suggest new creative angles
- Ad copy writing: Write or edit compelling ad copy that speaks to healthcare professionals' pain points and aspirations
🔧 Technical Setup & Tools
- Pixel & tracking: Implement Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, GA4, and conversion APIs
- Landing page optimisation: Collaborate on or independently optimise landing pages for conversion
- Email/SMS integration: Work with retention tools like Klaviyo to build post-purchase flows
- Funnel optimisation: Identify and fix drop-off points in the customer journey.
Must-Haves
✅ 2+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience managing Meta and Google Ads with proven results
✅ D2C or e-commerce background - preferably in lifestyle, apparel, wellness, or healthcare products
✅ Proven track record of scaling campaigns from small budgets to profitable growth
✅ Data fluency - comfortable with Excel/Sheets, GA4, and interpreting marketing analytics
✅ Self-starter mentality - you don't wait for instructions; you identify problems and solve them
✅ Creative instincts - strong opinion on what makes a good ad, and can articulate why something will or won't work
✅ Ownership mindset - you treat the budget and brand like it's your own business
Bonus Points
⭐ Experience marketing apparel, healthcare, or wellness products
⭐ Knowledge of landing page builders (Shopify, Webflow, Unbounce) and CRO principles
⭐ Familiarity with GA4, Klaviyo, or Segment
⭐ Experience with influencer marketing or partnership campaigns
⭐ Understanding of email/SMS marketing and retention strategy
⭐ Video editing or basic design skills (Canva, Figma, CapCut)
What Success Looks LikeMonth 1: Foundation
- Meta and Google ad accounts are fully set up with proper tracking
- First campaigns launched with initial test budgets
- Baseline metrics established and reporting dashboards built
- Creative pipeline and briefing process established
Month 3: Optimisation
- Clear understanding of what creative angles and audiences work
- ROAS at or above 2.5x on Meta, profitable CPA on Google
- A/B testing framework in place with documented learnings
- Scaled at least 2-3 winning campaigns
Month 6: Scale
- Consistent month-over-month revenue growth from paid channels
- Efficient CAC: LTV ratio that supports sustainable growth
- Built a repeatable playbook for launching new products or campaigns
- Become the go-to expert on customer acquisition for the brand
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
You'll be measured on:
- ROAS (Return on Ad Spend): Target 3x+ blended across channels
- CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost): Target ₹500-800 per new customer
- Conversion Rate: Landing page CVR 2%+, ad-to-site CVR 1%+
- Monthly Revenue from Paid Ads: Progressive growth targets
- Creative Win Rate: % of tested creatives that achieve target ROAS
- Budget Efficiency: Staying within allocated budgets while hitting targets
