Role Summary
The Performance Management & Governance Specialist will support the Global Operations Planning (GOP) team by designing and operationalizing structured performance management and governance frameworks.
This role focuses on strengthening supply review governance, performance metrics, and executive-level insights. The position acts as a strategic problem-solving partner to global planning stakeholders, ensuring alignment, accountability, and transparency across the planning organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and support structured governance cadence for GOP and Supply Review forums, including escalation paths and decision rights.
- Map end-to-end GOP processes and identify gaps in performance visibility, accountability, and governance.
- Define, track, and maintain GOP performance metrics, KPIs, and review dashboards.
- Develop executive-ready review materials, decision packs, and performance summaries for leadership.
- Track issues, action items, and escalations across global regions to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Commercial, and Finance teams to ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Support initiatives that enhance performance visibility, governance maturity, and operational effectiveness.
Required Skills & Capabilities
- Strong understanding of operations and supply chain planning frameworks, including S&OP, IBP, and Supply Review processes.
- Ability to structure ambiguous business problems and design governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills.
- Expertise in preparing high-quality PowerPoint presentations and executive reporting materials.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in global, cross-functional, and matrixed environments.
Experience
- 4–7 years of professional experience in:
- Operations Planning
- Supply Chain Transformation
- Process Excellence
- Consulting
- Strategy or PMO roles
- Experience in Big 4 consulting firms, management consulting, or internal strategy/PMO teams is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to global planning teams or GCC environments is an advantage.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification in Operations, Supply Chain, or Strategy is preferred but not mandatory.
