Job Description
We are seeking a skilled
Performance Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in
SaaS applications, APIs, ETL pipelines, and cloud-native environments.
The ideal candidate will focus on
performance testing, bottleneck analysis, scalability validation, and system optimization across distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute:
- Load testing
- Stress testing
- Endurance testing
- Scalability testing
- Perform performance testing across:
- SaaS applications
- REST APIs
- Microservices
- ETL/Data pipelines
- Prepare test data based on:
- API documentation
- ETL transformations
- Generate synthetic data for database testing
- Analyze performance bottlenecks across:
- Applications
- Databases
- Infrastructure
- Monitor system performance using APM and observability tools
- Validate Kubernetes pod and cluster performance under varying workloads
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and Engineering teams for performance tuning
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines

Core Technical Knowledge
- APIs and Microservices architecture
- ETL workflows
- SQL & NoSQL database performance optimization
- Graph databases (Neo4j, Amazon Neptune)
Infrastructure & Monitoring
- Kubernetes and Docker
- Cloud environments
- Monitoring tools:
- Grafana
- Prometheus
- Dynatrace
- Splunk
Programming & DevOps
- Scripting in Java, Python, or Shell
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Version control using Git
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Microsoft Azure
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Exposure to Kafka and event-driven architectures
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in Performance Engineering
