Project Role : Performance Engineer
Project Role Description : Diagnose issues that an in-house performance testing team has been unable to. There are five aspects to Performance Engineering: software development lifecycle and architecture, performance testing and validation, capacity planning, application performance management and problem detection and resolution.

Summary:
As a Performance Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for diagnosing complex issues that the in-house performance testing team has been unable to resolve. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to analyze performance metrics, validate application performance, and contribute to capacity planning efforts. You will also be involved in problem detection and resolution, ensuring that applications meet performance standards throughout the software development lifecycle. Your role will require a keen understanding of performance testing methodologies and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Develop and implement performance testing strategies to ensure optimal application performance.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apache JMeter.
- Strong understanding of performance testing frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience with load testing and stress testing applications.
- Familiarity with application performance management tools.
- Ability to analyze performance metrics and generate comprehensive reports.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Apache JMeter.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
