Key Responsibilities:
1. BAU Reporting & Delivery
· Execute daily/weekly/monthly performance attribution reports
· Ensure timely and error-free delivery for assigned portfolio groups
· Investigate unexplained variances (bps movement, attribution gaps)
· Assist on ongoing and new projects for efficiency
2. Data Validation & Quality Control
· Perform reconciliation across systems
· Identify and resolve data inconsistencies impacting attribution and performance
· Maintain audit trails for data corrections and overrides
· Maintain custom benchmark and/or portfolio performance data
· Escalate issues for faster resolution where appropriate and communicate to stakeholders
3. Stakeholder Communication
· Liaise with portfolio managers, analytics teams, and tech teams
· Translate technical findings into business explanations (bps impact, sector shifts)
· Support ad-hoc queries and analysis requests
4. Documentation & Knowledge Management
· Maintain clear process documentation (SOPs)
· Define calculation logic, assumptions, and methodology
· Ensure backup readiness and process standardization
Required Skills:
Technical:
· Knowledge of performance attribution (Brinson model, sector allocation, selection effect) & Fixed Income attribution concepts (Duration, Spread, etc)
· Good knowledge of the calculation of contribution and attribution analysis - ability to calculate the returns and attribution effects.
· Familiarity with tools like BarraOne or similar analytics platforms
· Experience in Dashboard and PowerBI (Preferred)
· Experience in Python & SQL is a plus
Analytical:
· Ability to investigate unexplained performance (bps-level)
· Strong problem-solving mindset (not just reporting, but fixing root causes)
Other:
· Experience of 8-10 years
· A Bachelor's or Master's degree
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Demonstrates high level of diligence, motivation and organizational skills
· Self-starter with strong analytical and problem solving skills
