About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant Intern to support ongoing research and evaluation projects. This role is ideal for students interested in gaining hands-on experience with data collection, analysis, literature reviews, and report writing. Key Responsibilities: Conduct literature reviews and summarize key findings Assist with qualitative and quantitative data collection (e.g., surveys, interviews, focus groups) Clean, code, and analyze datasets using Excel, SPSS, R, or similar software Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and other dissemination materials Maintain accurate records of research activities Attend project meetings and contribute to discussions and planning Perform administrative tasks related to research as needed Qualifications: Current undergraduate or graduate student in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, education, economics, psychology) Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication Familiarity with research methods and data analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with statistical software is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work Preferred Skills (not required): Experience with literature databases (e.g., JSTOR, PubMed, Google Scholar) Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) Interest in adult education, education policy, or workforce development
