About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Telesales Team Manager to lead our telesales team of 12 members, including 10 Telesales Account Managers, 1 Sales Support, and 1 Key Account Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving performance to meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as net revenue, order conversion, customer retention, and more. Aswell as creating a team culture and environment that allows people to thrive and feel motivated and engaged. This role is fast paced and sits within the Away From Home Team and more specifically focuses on our direct to customer delivery model. This model is critical in the strategic direction of the Away From Home channel and focuses on winning with independent outlets with some of our iconic brands like Walkers and Quaker but will be heavily focussed on our Pipers Premium Crisp brand Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of 12 telesales professionals to achieve individual and team targets. Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure continuous improvement. KPI Achievement: Drive the team to meet and exceed KPIs including net revenue, order conversion rates, customer retention, and other sales metrics. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction and retention. Training and Development: Identify training needs and organize training sessions to enhance the skills and performance of the team. Customer Relationship Management: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships with key accounts Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, sales metrics, and other relevant data to senior management. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain and Finance to align sales strategies and achieve company goals.
