As an Associate Market Sales Manager at poppi, you’ll play a key role in driving retail sales execution and field activation in your territory. In this field-based role, you’ll manage retail accounts with a focus on upselling and expanding poppi’s brand presence. You’ll increase points of distribution, drive depletions, sell cold placements, and activate promotions, while visiting stores daily to execute strategies that boost visibility, strengthen customer relationships, and elevate in-store sales performance.
This job is a field sales role and will need to be geographically located in NY for our customer base
Responsibilities:
- Execute in-store sales initiatives to grow poppi’s presence and drive performance across key retail channels.
- Maximize upsell opportunities for in-store product placements and support promotional activations to increase product visibility, trial, and sales velocity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store-level decision-makers to expand distribution and foster brand advocacy.
- Assist with sampling initiatives to promote product awareness and consumer engagement.
- Collaborate with the poppi Market Sales Manager and PepsiCo field sales teams to align execution plans and territory objectives.
- Provide accurate, timely updates on territory performance, including distribution gains, sales activity, and promotional impact.
- Manage the use of trade assets (e.g., POS materials, coolers, displays) to maximize ROI and ensure brand standards are upheld in-store.
- Represent poppi with professionalism, serving as a brand ambassador in every customer interaction.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $66,900 - $111,950.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out quarterly.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

- This role is eligible for mileage reimbursement based on the PepsiCo Travel and Expense Policy.

- 1+ years of industry related experience (Consumer Packaged Goods, Food & Beverage, Retail, and/or Grocery).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) and experience using sales-tracking software.
- Valid state driver’s license for the posted state or territory, and reliable transportation in accordance with State requirements for motor vehicles.
