About the role
Overview PepsiCo Global Insights created a worldwide ecosystem of shared insight, analytics, and foresight expertise led by distributed global leadership team & principles. The role will be critical to increase the impact and efficiency of this Capability by facilitating knowledge sharing and expertise across GBS and PepsiCo regions, executing ad-hoc projects and routine deliverables by using all sources of information available in the program and supporting to create compelling stories putting together BIG and THICK data Responsibilities Functional Responsibilities: • Business acumen and ability to build actionable recommendations • Ability to ensure deliveries are kept on track, even during stressful events (short timelines, etc) • Excellent data organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills • High proficiency in written/oral communication and presentation skills along-with strong relationship skills / experience of working with leadership across functions and geographies • Self-starter, ability to deliver work and coordinate with parallel teams / capability leads in different time zones / geographies • Experience working with an organization like PepsiCo. (e.g., brand environment, similar size, scale, markets, complexity) • Ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities and projects requiring a high degree of organizational and communication skills • Expertise in social media monitoring and metrics across all major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, Tiktok, Snapchat, etc) for organic as well as paid media • Experience with Influencer tracking and monitoring. • Familiarity with social listening methodology and tools/ softwares (e.g. Talkwalker) • Expertise in trend identification and tracking and passion for latest social/cultural consumer market trends, conversations, and behaviours (specially for US region) • Exceptional research, writing, and analysis skills, including the ability to quickly and concisely summarize complex issues • Excellent data organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills • Awareness of the latest trends in social media monitoring sphere, high proficiency in written/oral communication and presentation skills along-with strong relationship skills / experience of working with leadership across functions and geographies • Familiarity with earned media metrics and reporting processes across all major platforms (online, TV, broadcast, print, etc) • Exceptional research, writing, and analysis skills, including the ability to quickly and concisely summarize complex issues • Passion for consumer markets industry and latest US and world events Contribute to building this new Capability and the Vision • Elevate and infuse culture of Social Listening in the organization • Leverage the scale of PEP’s Social Listening capabilities to bring this expertise to PepsiCo • Design and develop the range of projects we can tackle with Social Listening • Work closely with other Global Insights team members to lift and shift internal best practices Stakeholder Management • Manage relationship with stakeholders, requestors and end service users • Address any negative on-going, cyclical feedback via regular updates to end-users on any corrective actions taken • Lead communication to end-users on matters such as available capacity, changes of scope of existing projects and planning of future projects • Educate senior end users on ways of working, processes and tasks related to Social Listening functioning Qualifications • Social Listening Expertise with a heavy focus on Reporting and brand social listening • 7+ years of experience at making an impact in social media analytics or social media listening is a must • Experience in FB, TW, IG, and TikTok business analytics is a must or owned branded content analytics • Very comfortable in running in-depth Consumer research analyses, ability to turn findings into compelling and insightful stories and present them to Business teams. • Understanding of the Brand and Innovation strategy process and Insights’ critical roles at each stage. • Awareness or interest in the US market and culture. • Communication - Demonstrated skills with written communication – especially in PowerPoint and email - Strong verbal and written communication – English - Elevated ability to train others on Insights analytics • Organizational Savvy - Able to influence and work through others to effectively navigate the organization while ensuring that necessary stakeholders are informed and educated - Global savvy to work across cultures and time zone • Project Management - Highly analytical, motivated, and decisive with excellent project management skills. - Proven experience in planning and conducting research projects achieving goals and objectives - Organized: Capable of juggling multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders, ensuring delivery while proactively managing trade-offs. • Execution - Demonstrated ability to manage projects and overcome challenges - Ability to influence local insights partners in their ways of working - Self-starter strategic thinker: capable of taking broad questions and open briefs and turning them into a roadmap, outputs, and business impact. - Ability to run consumer research analyses alone by leveraging various available data sources - Ability to learn quickly new tools and start working in the different ways enabled by these tools (leverage the self-serve platforms)
