1. Role Summary
· We are seeking a hands-on PeopleSoft Technical Consultant to support an enterprise PeopleSoft Financials and HCM environment.
· The consultant will handle technical support, troubleshooting, development changes, patching support, testing, documentation, and production release support.

3. Main Responsibilities
· Provide L2/L3 technical support for PeopleSoft Financials and HCM issues through the client support process.
· Investigate, debug, and resolve user-reported issues, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
· Develop or amend technical solutions using PeopleCode, SQL, workflows, scripts, configuration, and related PeopleSoft tools.
· Support periodic PeopleSoft patching and update cycles, including impact assessment, testing in non-production environments, and issue remediation.
· Support integration-related issues with internal and external systems without direct ownership of business operations.
· Prepare technical documentation, release documentation, migration packages, and lessons learned notes.
· Perform quality checks on technical deliverables and assist with post-go-live support.
· Collaborate with functional users, developers, technical leads, database/hosting teams, and change management stakeholders.
4. Required Technical Skills
· At least 4 years of hands-on PeopleSoft technical experience in Financials and/or HCM modules.
· Strong PeopleTools 8.6x knowledge.
· Strong PeopleCode experience, including Application Packages and workflow.
· Strong SQL and troubleshooting capabilities for production-support scenarios.
· Experience with approval workflow, integration broker messages, component interfaces, and other integration methods.
· Experience applying PeopleSoft patches/PUM updates, performing selective application, testing impact, and resolving issues before production deployment.
· Understanding of PeopleSoft security concepts and support for least-privilege / audit-aligned access models.
· Experience using or supporting PeopleSoft Test Framework or similar test automation approaches is desirable.

· Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
· Able to work in a multicultural, distributed team environment.
· Organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple support tickets and change requests.
· Hands-on delivery profile; not a purely advisory or managerial role.
