Role Overview
Seeking a
PeopleSoft Technical Architect to lead architecture, design, and delivery of
enterprise Tax systems integrated with
PeopleSoft HCM, Payroll, and SAP. The role focuses on scalable design, complex integrations, and global tax processing (US, UK, APAC).
Key Responsibilities - Define architecture & design for PeopleSoft Tax systems (W2, 1099, global tax)
- Lead development across:
- PeopleCode, Application Engine, App Packages
- SQR reports & batch processes
- Own end-to-end solution design (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Pension)
- Design and govern SAP integrations & external interfaces (XML)
- Ensure compliance with Payroll & Tax regulations
- Review code, enforce best practices & performance tuning
- Oversee database design, SQL optimization (Oracle)
- Drive technical documentation & architecture standards
- Mentor team and collaborate with global stakeholders
Required Skills - 10+ years PeopleSoft technical experience
- Strong expertise in:
- PeopleCode, App Engine, App Packages
- SQR
- SQL / Oracle
- Deep knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM & Payroll architecture
- Strong understanding of HR/Payroll tables & workflows
- Experience in integration (SAP, XML, APIs)
- Experience in large-scale tax systems (W2, 1099, global tax)
- Strong architecture, design, and governance skills
- Proven team leadership & stakeholder management
Good to Have
- Experience with PeopleSoft Self-Service modules
- Exposure to multi-country tax processing
- Prior architect or lead role in global implementations
