What You'll Do
Product Marketing
- Own positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation across our full product portfolio — PSA, RMM, AI Governance, Autonomous Endpoint Management, and the AI Builder
- Drive go-to-market strategy and launch execution for every major product release; own the readiness of Sales, SDRs, and Partners before each launch goes live
- Build the narrative architecture that defines our AI story — translating deeply technical capabilities into buyer-relevant outcomes that resonate with IT directors, MSP owners, and enterprise CIOs
- Develop and maintain a competitive intelligence programme; own battlecards, win/loss analysis, and objection-handling frameworks that give Sales a decisive edge in every deal
- Build the customer proof library: case studies, ROI frameworks, and reference stories that accelerate the mid-funnel and shorten enterprise sales cycles
Cross-Functional Partnership: Product, Sales & Pricing
- Serve as the primary marketing partner to the Head of Product — embedded in roadmap reviews, sprint demos, and GTM planning so marketing is never a last-minute consideration
- Own the pricing and packaging narrative in partnership with Product and Finance: how we communicate value, tier differentiation, and the commercial logic of our AI-native modules to the market
- Work in close partnership with Sales leadership on pipeline health, sales enablement, and segment-level messaging — bridging the gap between marketing programmes and what actually converts in a sales conversation
- Partner with the SDR team on outbound messaging and sequencing; ensure every touchpoint reflects the positioning framework and generates genuine buyer intent, not noise
- Build structured feedback loops with Customer Success and Sales — capturing what buyers believe before they purchase and what customers value after, and using that signal to continuously sharpen positioning
- Co-own product adoption marketing with Product and CS: launch campaigns, feature communications, in-product messaging, and usage milestone programmes that turn activated users into power users and expand revenue
AI — Governance, Autonomous Endpoint & AI Builder
- Own the category creation effort across our three AI frontiers — developing market education, thought leadership, and positioning that establish us as the definitive voice in AI-native IT management
- AI Governance: Build the marketing strategy and content programme that helps IT leaders and MSPs understand why AI Governance is non-negotiable and why we are the platform to operationalise it. Translate regulatory complexity, shadow AI risk, and compliance obligations into a clear, compelling buyer narrative
- Autonomous Endpoint Management: Define and own the market narrative for autonomous endpoints — making the case for why human-in-the-loop endpoint management is a bottleneck, and why our autonomous approach is the step-change the market needs. Develop use-case playbooks, ROI frameworks, and proof points that accelerate adoption across the MSP base and enterprise accounts
- AI Builder: Lead the launch and ongoing market development for our AI Builder — the platform that empowers IT teams and MSPs to create their own AI-powered workflows without engineering support. Build the developer and practitioner community, create the content and certification ecosystem, and position the AI Builder as a durable competitive moat that deepens platform stickiness and drives long-term retention
- Represent us at AI and IT industry events, publications, and analyst conversations — building the company's thought leadership profile at the intersection of AI and enterprise IT operations
- Work closely with Product on the AI roadmap to ensure every upcoming capability arrives in the market with context, buyer readiness, and launch momentum already in place
Demand Generation & Growth Marketing
- Lead end-to-end demand generation to deliver qualified inbound pipeline for the enterprise sales team with a consistent focus on quality over volume
- Design and execute demand generation initiatives across paid media, SEO, SEM, and account-based marketing (ABM) to build a scalable, predictable pipeline engine
- Spearhead marketing campaigns aligned to business objectives that drive lead generation, accelerate pipeline velocity, and deepen customer engagement
- Direct the collection, analysis, and interpretation of market research data to inform short- and long-term forecasting and strategic decision-making
- Optimise lead scoring, nurturing, and funnel performance to increase conversion rates and elevate lead quality across every segment
- Define pipeline targets and be directly accountable for marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced revenue — not just lead volume
- Build and continuously optimise the funnel from MQL to SQL to Closed Won, working in close coordination with the SDR and Sales teams
- Drive lifecycle and adoption marketing — improving conversion at every stage from first-touch awareness through renewal and expansion
- Own the events strategy: from third-party MSP conferences to hosted summits, ensuring every event investment is tied to a measurable pipeline outcome
Brand & Design
- Own the brand — visual identity, voice, tone, and market presence — ensuring it consistently reflects the category leadership we are building toward
- Lead the Design function to produce world-class creative across web, campaigns, product, and events
- Maintain brand consistency across every touchpoint: the website, sales collateral, conference presence, and product UI
- Build a brand that stands for something specific — AI-native, MSP-first, enterprise-ready — so that wherever a buyer encounters us, they know exactly what we represent and why it matters
Content & Social Media
- Build a content engine that drives organic authority in the MSP, IT management, and AI Governance markets
- Own the editorial strategy across blog, thought leadership, video, podcasts, and community content — with a deliberate emphasis on AI-related content that positions us at the frontier of the category
- Lead social media presence across platforms, growing engaged audiences in MSP communities, IT practitioner forums, and enterprise IT buyer channels
- Develop content that serves every stage of the buyer journey: awareness through AI Governance education, consideration through competitive comparisons and ROI tools, and adoption through feature-level content and AI Builder guides
Marketing Organisation
- Recruit, develop, and lead a multi-disciplinary marketing team across Product Marketing, Growth, Design, Content, and Social
- Build a performance culture — clear goals, rigorous measurement, structured experimentation, and a team that raises its own bar every quarter
- Partner with Finance to own the marketing budget, allocating toward the highest-leverage activities and defending every investment with data
- Represent Marketing at the leadership level: contributing to company strategy, GTM planning, and board-level reporting on marketing's measurable contribution to growth
Community-Led Marketing
- Build and execute a community-led marketing strategy that fosters sustained engagement, brand loyalty, and authentic advocacy within our target audience
- Establish and nurture a thriving practitioner community through events, digital platforms, and partner programmes — empowering members to become brand advocates who generate organic growth and deepen customer engagement
Event Strategy & Execution
- Oversee the planning, management, and execution of both virtual and in-person events that meaningfully increase brand visibility and audience engagement
- Lead the events team to design high-impact experiences for prospects and customers — ensuring every event is aligned to broader marketing goals and delivers measurable outcomes for pipeline and brand positioning
Milestones & Expectations
Days 1–90: Learn the business from the inside out — the product, the buyers, the competitive landscape, and the gaps in how we are currently positioned. Audit the full marketing function, assess the team, and develop a clear point of view on the AI narrative gap: where our Governance, Autonomous Endpoint, and AI Builder story is underdeveloped relative to the product's actual capability. Earn the trust of the CEO, Product, and Sales leadership with sharp thinking and genuine curiosity, not just active listening.
Months 3–6: Positioning and messaging is sharpened and reflected across the website, sales materials, and launch communications. The AI Governance and Autonomous Endpoint narratives have clear, differentiated positioning in the market. The AI Builder has a structured launch plan. The demand generation engine has measurable momentum, and Sales is actively using marketing assets in live deals.
Months 6–12: Marketing is a measurable driver of pipeline and revenue. We are visibly establishing authority in the AI Governance and Autonomous Endpoint Management categories. The AI Builder has an active community and a growing practitioner ecosystem. Brand visibility in the MSP and enterprise markets has materially increased. You and the CEO have a shared, explicit view of what winning the market narrative looks like heading into year two.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Background
- 15+ years in B2B SaaS marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role owning multiple marketing functions
- Proven track record of pipeline-contributing marketing at a high-growth company — category creation experience is a strong differentiator
- Deep expertise in at least two of: Product Marketing, Demand Generation, or Brand — with working fluency across the rest
- Demonstrated experience bringing technically complex products to market — ideally AI, automation, or platform products where the marketing challenge is as much about education and narrative as it is about reach
- Experience marketing to SMB and mid-market buyers is strongly preferred; MSP or IT channel experience is a meaningful advantage
- A track record of deep product partnership — not just receiving launch briefs, but actively contributing to roadmap thinking and GTM strategy
- Familiarity with pricing and packaging strategy in SaaS and the commercial confidence to hold a clear point of view in cross-functional discussions
Leadership Presence & Values
- Thinks commercially — fluent in the language of pipeline, CAC, LTV, retention, and revenue expansion, not just impressions and MQLs
- Builds teams, not just campaigns — attracts strong people, develops talent deliberately, and maintains high standards without micromanaging
- Holds a genuine, informed perspective on AI and its implications for IT operations, enterprise software, and the future of work — not because it is on the agenda, but because it shapes your reading of the market
- Earns cross-functional trust with Sales and Product; understands that the best marketing organisations are embedded in the commercial motion, not siloed alongside it
- Communicates with precision and conviction — in writing, on stage, in analyst briefings, and in the difficult internal conversations that move organisations forward
