Fullstack Frontend Architect — Technical Anchor for Frontend Organization
• Drive Technical Excellence & Architecture — Own module boundaries, state/data flow, rendering strategy, and extensibility. Drive the frontend roadmap through RFCs and architecture reviews, balancing speed-to-market with long-term maintainability.
• Solve Complex UI & Performance Problems — Maintain high performance on canvases with thousands of AI-generated nodes. Own frontend performance across large documents, long sessions, and memory usage (rendering bottlenecks, memory management under real-world conditions).
• Architect Real-Time & Distributed Systems — Partner closely with Design, Product, and Backend teams on key tradeoffs, API design, and distributed systems. Architect real-time collaborative systems with deep expertise in modern state management (Zustand, Recoil, Jotai, Redux) and reactive programming.
• Set Quality & Reliability Standards — Own testing, CI quality gates, observability, and release reliability to establish a "zero-regression" culture. Balance hands-on deep-work coding and day-to-day execution with long-term technical direction.
• Mentor & Raise Engineering Craft — Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical workshops, raising frontend engineering craft across the organization.
• Must-Have Requirements — 10+ years building large-scale web applications; 2–4 years owning frontend architecture and technical strategy; mastery of React and TypeScript for complex, high-performance UIs; proven track record building large editors or complex UI systems (canvas, node-based editors, multi-pane layouts, or timelines).
