The Role
Lead end-to-end purchase, stores, and supply chain operations across multiple locations. This is a transformation-focused role — ideal for someone who thrives on building structure, enforcing process discipline, and driving commercial rigor in a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement, vendor development, contract negotiation, and rate standardization across all locations
- Establish inventory norms — reorder levels, stock planning, and expiry-risk monitoring
- Implement controls across the procure-to-pay cycle: indents, POs, approvals, GRN
- Coordinate with pharmacy, finance, and operations for cost optimization and compliance
- Build and track MIS dashboards on procurement savings, inventory turns, and vendor performance
- Lead and develop a team of 12–14 members
What We're Looking For
- 8–10+ years of experience, with minimum 5 years in hospital / healthcare SCM
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, Materials Management, or Hospital Administration
- Hands-on experience with ERP / hospital information systems (KareXpert exposure is a plus)
- Prior experience in 300+ bed hospitals, hospital chains, or large healthcare institutions preferred
- Multi-location procurement experience preferred
- NABH exposure is an advantage
- Kannada language preferred
- Strong commercial acumen, data orientation, and a process-driven mindset
