People & Talent Operations Lead (Gaming)
Location: Remote/India
Reports to: Chief Growth & Ecosystem Officer
Role Overview
We are building a fast-moving, gaming and ecosystem-driven organisation and are looking for a People & Talent Operations Lead who can build the internal foundation that supports growth.
This role is not traditional HR.
You will own hiring operations, onboarding, contracts, performance systems, remote culture management, and people processes across a lean but ambitious team.
Experience working in gaming, consumer tech, or startup environments is strongly preferred.
You should be comfortable operating in early-stage environments where structure needs to be built, not maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Hiring
• Post and manage hiring across gaming, creative, growth, and tech roles
• Screen and shortlist candidates efficiently
• Define salary benchmarks and role scopes
• Coordinate interviews and manage offer processes
• Build hiring pipelines for performance, creative, and community roles
Onboarding & Documentation
• Design structured onboarding for remote and hybrid teams
• Manage contracts, offer letters, probation terms, and compliance documentation
• Collect and maintain employee records securely
• Ensure smooth joining experiences
Performance & Incentive Systems
• Set up performance tracking frameworks for growth, creative, and community teams
• Design incentive and bonus structures aligned with KPIs
• Track performance metrics across remote teams
• Support leadership with quarterly review frameworks
People Operations & Culture
• Maintain operational clarity in a distributed team
• Define notice periods, probation policies, and performance improvement processes
• Build internal SOPs and communication frameworks
• Ensure accountability without slowing down speed

Ideal Candidate
• 3-6 years in HR / People Ops / Talent roles
• Experience in gaming, tech startups, or consumer platforms preferred
• Strong hiring and screening experience
• Familiarity with remote team management tools
• Comfortable designing performance and incentive frameworks
• Ability to operate independently and build a structure from scratch
Bonus
• Experience hiring for gaming, RMG, esports, or creator ecosystems
• Familiarity with performance-driven cultures
• Exposure to fast-scaling startups
