Role Overview
As the People Systems Lead, you will serve as the primary architect and subject matter expert for the Workday ecosystem. You will be responsible for the strategic configuration, optimization, and seamless delivery of Workday modules across our global offices. This role requires a high-level Individual Contributor who can bridge the gap between complex HR business requirements and technical system execution, ensuring a world-class employee experience for a distributed workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- System Architecture & Configuration: Lead the end-to-end implementation and optimization of Workday modules (including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Talent).
- Global Process Alignment: Partner with global HRBP, Finance, and IT stakeholders to harmonize HR processes across different regions while maintaining compliance with local labor laws.
- Advanced Analytics: Design and maintain complex reports, calculated fields, and dashboards to provide leadership with actionable talent insights.
- Feature Roadmap: Own the Workday release management cycle—evaluating new features, conducting impact analysis, and leading the testing/deployment of semi-annual updates.
- User Empowerment: Develop training documentation and lead "office hours" for HR users and managers to maximize system adoption.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM.
- Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in Business Process (BP) configuration, Security Groups, and Report Writer.
- Global Mindset: Proven track record of working within a global delivery model, specifically coordinating with teams in North America or Europe.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex integration errors and process bottlenecks independently.
- Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon into business-friendly language.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
