GENERAL INFORMATION

• Workdays are primarily Monday through Friday 

• Occasional evening or weekend work may be required 

• Limited travel may be required 

• Position is Regular, Full-time, and Exempt

OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB

This role supports day-to-day HR operations across multiple functions, including employee lifecycle, HR systems, compliance, and total rewards. The HR Generalist provides hands-on, tactical support to ensure efficient and compliant HR processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless employee experience 

• Partner with managers and HR team on day-to-day employee relations and support 

• Maintain accurate employee records and documentation 

HRIS & Reporting

• Maintain and administer HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity 

• Run reports and analyze HR data to support decision-making and compliance 

• Support system updates, audits, and process improvements 

Compensation & Benefits (Tactical Support)

• Provide hands-on support with compensation and benefits administration 

• Assist with benefit enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries 

• Partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth operations 

Payroll & Cross-Functional Support

• Collaborate closely with the Payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing 

• Support data validation and reporting needs related to payroll 

Compliance & Filings

• Support HR compliance efforts, including required filings and documentation 

• Assist with ACA (Affordable Care Act) tracking and lookback measurement processes 

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations 

General HR Support

• Assist with audits, reporting, and HR projects as needed 

• Provide support across HR functions and serve as a resource to employees and managers 

Requirements

 QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong knowledge of HR processes and employment regulations (including ACA, FMLA, etc.) 

• Experience with HRIS systems and data reporting 

• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities 

• Strong communication and organizational skills 

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred 

• HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) a plus

EXPERIENCE

• 4+ years of HR experience in a generalist or similar role 

• Experience supporting HR operations, compliance, and HR systems 

• Experience working with Payroll teams preferred

SOFTWARE PROFICIENCY

• Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Paylocity or similar) 

• Strong Excel skills 

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
