👩🏻💼 Title: People Ops and Strategy Associate

At Rocket Health, people are our strongest system. We’re looking for a People Ops & Strategy Associate to help us scale our healthcare startup from 130+ to 250+ team members across hybrid and remote teams.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to learn how people, culture, compliance, and systems come together in a fast-growing healthcare company, while working closely with founders, healthcare leaders, and the People Ops team.
This is not just an HR role- it’s an opportunity to understand how a mission-driven healthcare startup truly operates.
What You’ll Do 🧰
1. Hiring, Lifecycle & Contracts
- Coordinate end-to-end hiring — scheduling, candidate follow-ups, and closing loops
- Draft and issue offer letters, NDAs, contracts, and addenda
- Support onboarding and offboarding in collaboration with founders and healthcare leads
- Maintain hiring trackers, background checks, and onboarding documentation
2. Legal, Compliance & Payroll
- Maintain payroll sheets, leave trackers, and support smooth monthly payroll execution
- Coordinate with finance, payroll vendors, and consultants for data, queries, and compliance updates
- Ensure adherence to PF, ESI, and India’s HR compliance framework
- Track policy violations, therapist flags, and support escalations in collaboration with legal and HR teams
3. People Ops, Systems & Data
- Keep employee records updated across Google Sheets, Notion, and internal dashboards
- Build and improve workflows — onboarding, exits, surveys, and internal processes
- Maintain structured, accurate documentation across all People Ops systems
- Support reporting, audits, and internal data hygiene
4. Culture, Community & Engagement
- Drive team engagement initiatives — birthdays, milestones, and meaningful team moments
- Support performance review cycles and feedback processes with founders
- Contribute to retention initiatives — learning budgets, career check-ins, and growth tracks
- Build a strong sense of community and belonging across teams through thoughtful engagement
