Role: People Operations Specialist

The Senior Partner - People Operations is responsible for managing the day-to-day administration of a variety of human resources programs to support the organization's employees and managers. This job is responsible for administering human resources in multiple areas, including personnel records maintenance, background verification, compliance, policy process management, payroll, employee documentation and HR employment issues such as the hiring and termination processes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee compliance frameworks, internal controls, and governance processes to ensure adherence to labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Lead and manage internal and external audits, including ISO audits, compliance reviews, statutory audits, and client audits; ensure timely closure of audit observations and corrective actions.
- Continuously assess HR compliance processes and strengthen control mechanisms to mitigate legal, operational, and reputational risks.
- Draft, review, update, and implement HR and compliance policies in line with evolving legal and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with legal counsel, HR teams, and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and monitoring of compliance standards and regulatory obligations.
- Manage end-to-end labour law compliance activities through coordination with external vendors and ensure timely statutory filings, registrations, renewals, and documentation.
- Monitor regulatory developments and industry best practices to proactively identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective measures.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and support the organization in identifying potential future risks and mitigation strategies.
- Prepare compliance dashboards, audit reports, and governance updates for senior management, leadership reviews, and external regulatory bodies.
- Oversee employee benefits administration and ensure compliance with applicable policies and statutory requirements.
- Drive a culture of compliance awareness and process accountability across the organization.
