Etome Works Limited (or Etome) is a Kerala-based Indian EdTech company founded in 2023, specialising in e-ink technology for education, including the "Etome eNote" tablet. They create focused learning tools like digital notepads and eBoards, and have partnered with Tata ClassEdge to establish EdTech experience centres for schools.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site People Manager role based in Changanacherry. The People Manager will oversee the recruitment process, manage employee relations, and develop strategies to nurture staff engagement and satisfaction. Their responsibilities include ensuring compliance with HR policies, designing performance evaluation frameworks, and addressing workplace issues. The role will also involve coaching team leads and fostering an inclusive, collaborative work environment to support organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Human Resources Management and strong expertise in recruitment, organizational development, and employee relations
- Leadership, team building, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in conflict resolution, decision-making, and problem-solving
- Experience in designing and implementing performance evaluation frameworks and training programs
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance best practices
- Ability to foster an inclusive, collaborative, and growth-oriented workplace culture
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus
- Previous experience in HR leadership or People Management roles is required
