Duties

Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Serves as a Supervisory Investigative Analyst in PFPA's TIC. The employee is responsible for the Threat Assessment Team, the Counterintelligence Analysis Team, and the Criminal/Protective Intelligence Team. Advises senior leadership on foreign and domestic intelligence threats and their impact on PFPA. Delivers original briefings or presentations to the highest level of leadership within the DoW and other government agencies pertaining to Protective Missions and Criminal Investigations. Performs the administrative and human resource management functions relative to subordinate staff supervision. Provides appraisals of various staff members, including input on interim and annual performance assessments. Produces up to and including finished intelligence products and briefs results to decision makers at PFPA and above

Qualifications

In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. You may qualify at the GS-14 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement:One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private sector) that demonstrates your ability in: (1) Demonstrated knowledge of a broad range of national, DoW, and law enforcement intelligence CI program disciplines (i.e., HUMINT, IMINT, MASINT, OSINT, SIGINT, and CI). (2) Researching, identifying, reviewing, and analyzing mission related criminal/protective intelligence information as well as ensuring such information is processed and reported appropriately. (3) Preparing finished criminal investigative products, both basic descriptive and speculative estimative, to agency decision makers. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
