About the role
PENNEP is looking for an Business Analyst who will be responsible for working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, document, and analyze requirements for technology projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in both business analysis and information technology and will possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
Interpret business needs and issues by gathering, eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and validating technical and functional requirements for IT projects and products.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including end-users, managers, executives, subject matter experts to ensure that requirements are well-defined and documented in a clear and organized manner.
Manage project stakeholders, roadmap, timelines, priorities, risks, dependencies, constraints.
Manage project and product backlogs.
Participate in requirements analysis and verification sessions, development sessions, and design reviews to ensure that design meets user requirements.
Facilitate status, planning, retrospective meetings.
Assist implementation team and design team with requirements clarifications and questions.
Provide demo sessions to project stakeholders.
Client feedback management.
Implement practices and procedures for end-user test plans, identify gaps in requirement adherence, and coordinate appropriate action through issue resolution.
Troubleshoot and analyze system issues, develop solutions and workarounds, and provide guidance and training to application end-users.
Create User Guidelines documents.
Assist client with User Acceptance Testing.
Monitor and report project status to identify and mitigate risks and ensure quality and timely deliverables.
Requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex business requirements into functional specifications.
Proficiency in project management and agile methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Business structure understanding
Knowledge of Relevant Tools, e.g.: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, etc.
Stakeholder Analysis, Management
Excellent Documentation Skills and Experience
Basic software knowledge and skills
Basic programing language knowledge
Understanding of Databases and Networks
Requirements Engineering
Nice to Have
Experience with UAT testing and optimization tools.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
Ability to use Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
Microsoft Office.
