Salary: Starting at $67,025.

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

Certification Required: English 7-12

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Pennsylvania state standards.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates students.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, including technology, to enhance student learning.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide timely feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective instructional practices.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices.
  • Adhere to district policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Pennsylvania teaching certification.
  • Strong knowledge of the assigned content and pedagogy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
