Description
Front Desk Youth Ally (Triage & Engagement)
Pendleton Place | Greenville, SC
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $17-$18
This is a front desk role inside a residential program—not a traditional office environment. We’re hiring a Front Desk Youth Ally to manage the front door of a space where young people live, visitors come and go, and real-time situations require calm judgment and presence.
What You’ll Do
- · Serve as the first point of contact—answering calls, welcoming visitors, and setting the tone for the space with care, kindness, and skill
- · Manage communication flow, including phones, shared inboxes, and directing inquiries to the right people
- · Triage needs in real time—assessing situations, de-escalating when needed, and connecting individuals to appropriate support
- · Provide administrative support as necessary
- · Oversee the Administrative Hub, including mail, supplies, and shared office resources
- · Work within a residential setting where youth live onsite, requiring awareness, professionalism, and the ability to respond to real-time situations
Who You Are
- · Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple priorities
- · Clear, confident communicator
- · Warm, welcoming, and able to maintain boundaries
- · Observant and responsive to people and situations
- · Reliable and consistent
Experience with youth or human services is helpful, but what matters most is your presence and judgment.
Why This Role Matters
This is more than a front desk—it’s the front door to a residential community. How you show up shapes how people experience the space.
Why Join Pendleton Place?
You’ll be part of a mission-driven organization making real impact in Greenville and across the Upstate — offering competitive pay, benefits, and a collaborative culture that values growth, empathy, and excellence.
If you believe every young person deserves the chance to soar, we’d love to meet you.
Requirements
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree in business, human services, youth development, healthcare, or related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license and insurable driving record
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
• Willingness to complete required training and certifications
Join us in creating a place where young people can land, regroup, and build their future.
