Senior Data Acquisition Specialist

The Senior Data Acquisition Specialist is responsible for driving data acquisition strategies to support Pega's growing data business. This role will identify and execute on new data sources and partnerships to grow Pega's data assets and support the business. Key responsibilities include: - Develop and execute on data acquisition strategies to grow Pega's data assets and support the business - Identify, evaluate, and onboard new data sources and partners to expand Pega's data offerings - Serve as the subject matter expert on data acquisition practices, tools, and techniques - Collaborate cross-functionally with data, product, and business teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions - Drive process improvements and automation to scale Pega's data acquisition capabilities - Stay current on industry trends and best practices in data acquisition Requirements: - 7+ years of experience in data acquisition and partnership management - Strong understanding of data ingestion processes, data quality, and integration techniques - Proven track record of identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new data sources - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally - Experience with data cataloging, data lineage, and metadata management tools and practices - Familiarity with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes - Proficient in SQL and experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) - Passion for data and data-driven decision making
