Position Description:
Ford is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pega Senior Architect to join our Enterprise Technology team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing robust and scalable Pega-based solutions that streamline business processes and enhance operational efficiency across various Ford departments. You will provide technical leadership, ensure adherence to Pega best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our Pega platform capabilities. Key Responsibilities: the design, development, and implementation of complex Pega PRPC (Pega Platform) applications, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and architectural standards. • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-production support. • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and other IT teams to translate complex business requirements into technical designs and scalable Pega workflows. • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to Pega best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines. • Oversee the integration of Pega applications with other enterprise systems using various methods such as web services and APIs, optimizing data transfer and managing complex integration requirements. • Focus on performance tuning, troubleshooting, and security hardening of Pega applications to ensure optimal system performance and reliability. • Mentor junior Pega developers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the team. • Stay abreast of the latest Pega technologies, industry trends, and best practices, driving innovation and recommending strategic improvements to our Pega platform. • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and deployment guides. • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to a collaborative, geographically distributed team environment.

Experience Required:
Senior Pega Engineer 6+ years in IT 5+ years as Pega senior architect; 5+ years in development
Experience Preferred:
-Knowledge of PEGA Cloud Performance improvement Experience with software architecture and SOA services implementation Experience in process excellence/modelling, workflow Experience in different agile environments and methodologies

Designs, develops secure and high-quality production code, and maintains complex applications using Pega solutions that adhere to platform best practices Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability Develops unit tests and provides code coverage to accurately test business logic and functionality. Participates in developing specifications such as user stories and grooming structured technical untis delivery Solves/recommends solutions for complex issues and problems Communication and Collaborations with different product teams Collaborates within the Agile framework, fosters a team approach to software development and delivery;guide team of developers Documents designs, issues/risks, solutions, tips & tricks as needed Actively engages improving software delivery through DevOps and other Agile practices Stays current in latest PEGA standard to maintain a high level of subject matter expertise.
