Pega Developer – Senior Developer(Pune)

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Pega Developer to design, develop, configure, and implement enterprise applications using the Pega Platform. The candidate should have strong knowledge of Pega architecture, case management, workflow development, integrations, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Pega applications using Pega best practices and guardrails.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop Case Types, Stages, Processes, Flows, Flow Actions, SLAs, and Business Rules.
- Work with Data Pages, Data Transforms, Activities, Decision Tables, Decision Trees, and Report Definitions.
- Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform debugging, and resolve production defects.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Pega development standards.
- Work on application performance optimization and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing, and deployment activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship
Required Technical Skills
- 7+ years of Pega development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Pega PRPC / Pega Platform.
- Experience with Pega 7.x / 8.x or later.
- Strong understanding of Case Management and Workflow.

- Case Types & Case Lifecycle
- Data Pages
- Data Transforms
- Activities
- Decision Tables / Decision Trees
- SLA
- Reporting
- Security & Access Groups
- Queue Processors / Background Processing
- Agents
- Strong experience in REST and SOAP integrations.
- Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of Pega performance optimization and best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Good understanding of CI/CD and deployment processes is preferred.
Certification
- CSSA (Certified Pega Senior System Architect) – Preferred / Strongly Preferred
- PCLSA / CLSA – Added advantage
Pega identifies CSSA as the senior level in its System Architect path, while PCLSA is the advanced Lead System Architect level.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
