Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer with extensive experience in Pega to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions using Pega technology. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing applications that meet business requirements while ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Pega applications in accordance with business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Perform system analysis, design, and development of Pega-based solutions.
- Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Participate in project planning and estimation activities.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in existing applications and provide timely resolutions.
- Stay updated with the latest Pega features and best practices.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong expertise in Pega development and implementation.
- Proficient in Pega PRPC, Pega BPM, and Pega Decisioning.
- Experience with Pega integration techniques and tools.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of Java, SQL, and web technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and deployment.
- Certifications in Pega (e.g., Pega Certified Senior System Architect) are a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in software development with a focus on Pega.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
