Peer Review Associate (PRA)
Role Summary
The Peer Review Associate is responsible for managing research paper submissions for academic journals and ensuring a smooth peer review process from submission to publication.
Key Responsibilities
- Review submitted manuscripts and ensure they meet journal requirements.
- Coordinate with editors and assign suitable reviewers.
- Follow up with authors, reviewers, and editors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Respond to queries from authors, reviewers, editors, and internal stakeholders.
- Check accepted manuscripts for completeness, formatting, permissions, and required documentation.
- Transfer finalized manuscripts to the production team within established deadlines.
- Maintain journal records, reports, trackers, and email templates.
- Monitor manuscript progress and resolve workflow-related issues.
- Act as a liaison between journal editors and internal teams.
