Role Description The Pediatrician at MediVaah will provide comprehensive primary care to infants, children, and adolescents, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, growth and development assessments, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. The role involves collaborating with other physicians and healthcare professionals, counseling families on preventive health, nutrition, and developmental concerns, and maintaining accurate, timely medical records. The Pediatrician will also evaluate and manage neonatal cases where appropriate, coordinate referrals to specialists, and adhere to evidence-based clinical guidelines and safety protocols. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring regular patient consultations at designated MediVaah locations and active participation in the MediVaah healthcare community.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical expertise in Pediatrics and Primary Care, with the ability to manage a broad range of childhood conditions.
- Experience or training in Neonatology, including assessment and initial management of newborn health issues.
- Demonstrated ability in Medicine and working collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) with MD/DNB/Diploma in Pediatrics or equivalent, with valid medical registration in India.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with children and families, with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Commitment to ethical practice, clinical quality, and continuous professional development.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and basic digital tools; prior experience in community or clinic-based practice in Bengaluru is an advantage.
