Job Description:
- Provide medical care and clinical management for pediatric patients under the supervision of senior pediatric consultants.
- Assess patients, take detailed medical histories, perform clinical examinations, and prepare treatment plans.
- Manage pediatric OPD and inpatient cases as per hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients’ progress and document clinical findings accurately.
- Handle pediatric emergencies and coordinate with senior consultants whenever required.
- Assist in procedures and ensure appropriate pre- and post-procedure care.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments for smooth patient management.
- Maintain accurate medical records, case sheets, discharge summaries, and clinical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with parents/attendants regarding the child’s condition and treatment plan.
- Follow hospital policies, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards.
Qualification:
- MBBS with relevant postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics preferred.
- Valid medical registration is mandatory.
- 1–2 years of experience in Pediatrics/Pediatric hospital setting preferred.
