Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pediatric Physical Therapist role based in Mumbai. The Pediatric Physical Therapist will assess motor development, posture, strength, balance, and functional mobility in infants, children, and adolescents with developmental and behavioral concerns. Daily responsibilities include creating and implementing individualized therapy plans, conducting one-on-one and group therapy sessions, and documenting progress and outcomes. The role involves collaborating with physicians, pediatric specialists, rehabilitation professionals, and families to ensure integrated care. The therapist will also educate caregivers on home exercise programs, participate in case discussions, and contribute to quality improvement and best-practice initiatives within the center.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Physical Therapy and Pediatric Physical Therapy, with experience in assessing and treating children with developmental and behavioral issues.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine and Pediatrics to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary clinical teams.
- Candidates should possess Rehabilitation skills, including developing and monitoring individualized treatment plans aimed at improving functional outcomes.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent), current professional licensure/registration, and pediatric-focused training or certifications are preferred.
- Additional beneficial skills include strong communication and counseling abilities, capacity to work collaboratively with families and teams, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to evidence-based, ethical practice.
