</div><div>Peakstone Law Group is seeking a <strong>high-performing Associate Attorney</strong> to support our criminal defense practice while expanding into civil litigation. <br><br>
</div><div>This role is designed for an attorney with <strong>meaningful criminal law experience (misdemeanor and felony required)</strong> who is looking to <strong>broaden their practice into probate, civil litigation, and future domestic relations work</strong> as the firm continues to grow. <br><br>
</div><div>You will take ownership of a <strong>robust criminal caseload immediately</strong> while being trained and developed in additional practice areas over time. <br><br>
</div><div>This is a <strong>production-focused position</strong> for an attorney who is comfortable in court, capable of managing volume, and motivated to grow into a more diversified and higher-value practice. <br><br>

<strong>What Success Looks Like</strong> <br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>You confidently manage a <strong>full criminal caseload (misdemeanor and felony)</strong> </li>
<li>You are comfortable handling <strong>court appearances, hearings, and negotiations independently</strong> </li>
<li>You begin contributing to <strong>civil and probate matters as you ramp</strong> </li>
<li>You adapt across practice areas while maintaining strong productivity </li>
<li>You contribute to both <strong>client outcomes and firm revenue growth</strong> </li>

<strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> <br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Represent clients in <strong>criminal defense matters</strong>, including DUI, misdemeanor, and felony cases </li>
<li>Handle <strong>court appearances, hearings, negotiations, and case strategy</strong> </li>
<li>Draft motions, pleadings, and legal documents across matters </li>
<li>Assist with and develop <strong>probate and civil litigation cases (training provided)</strong> </li>
<li>Support future expansion into <strong>domestic relations matters as the firm grows</strong> </li>
<li>Maintain consistent and professional <strong>client communication</strong> </li>
<li>Work closely with paralegals to ensure <strong>efficient case progression</strong> </li>

<strong>Qualifications (Required)</strong> <br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Licensed and in good standing in Colorado </li>
<li>
<strong>Minimum 2+ years of criminal law experience, including misdemeanor AND felony cases (required)</strong> </li>
<li>Prior experience as a <strong>Public Defender or Deputy District Attorney strongly preferred</strong> </li>
<li>Proven ability to manage a <strong>high caseload with accountability and efficiency</strong> </li>
<li>Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills </li>
