Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated professional for a full-time role in PDF Accessibility Services at our on-site facility in Salem. The role involves ensuring that PDF documents comply with accessibility standards, reviewing and remediating PDF files for usability, and collaborating with teams to maintain accessible content for diverse audiences. Additional responsibilities include maintaining updated knowledge of accessibility standards and providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate and remediate accessibility challenges
- Excellent Communication skills for liaising with team members and explaining recommendations
- Customer Service skills to ensure a user-centered approach and meet stakeholders' needs
- Foundational understanding of Sales and Finance to align accessibility practices with organizational goals
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines such as WCAG and PDF/UA is highly desirable
- Proficiency in PDF editing tools and assistive technologies used for accessibility testing
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
