Role Description The PDC Operator and Supervisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Raipur. The role involves overseeing production and process control operations, monitoring machinery and equipment, and ensuring that manufacturing targets and quality standards are consistently met. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating workflows, supervising operators, maintaining production records, and reporting any process deviations or machine issues. The role also requires adherence to safety protocols, supporting preventive maintenance activities, and collaborating with quality, logistics, and maintenance teams to optimize efficiency. The PDC Operator and Supervisor will help implement standard operating procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial production environments, preferably in rubber, resin, or grinding wheel operations.
- Knowledge of production planning, process control, and basic quality assurance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules, technical instructions, and machine parameters.
- Strong supervisory skills, including team coordination, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving capability, and a focus on safety and compliance.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry, reporting, and use of production-related software.
- Diploma or degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Willingness to work in shifts if required and to be physically present on the shop floor in Raipur.
