Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for PCS and Wind Turbine Commissioning and Service Engineers at Hopewind. The position involves working across multiple sites throughout India.
In this role, you will be responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining PCS and wind turbine systems, along with other Hopewind products. Additional responsibilities include providing technical support, performing field service operations, and ensuring optimal equipment performance and safety. Engineers will collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications-Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (BE) in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in PCS/Converter systems.
- Knowledge of wind turbine systems (DFIG, Pitch systems, etc.)
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting and problem resolution for electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience in Field Service and Maintenance & Repair of PCS or wind turbine systems.
- Excellent Communication skills to interact with clients and teams effectively.
- Proficiency in providing Technical Support and conducting technical diagnostics.
- Relevant certifications or experience in renewable energy, electrical engineering is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities in a hybrid work environment.
- Good English communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexibility to frequent travel to on-site locations as required.
