Role Description This is a full-time, on-site PCBA & Embedded Software Engineer role based in Delhi, India. The role involves designing, developing, and testing embedded software for PCBA-based products, including low-level drivers, application logic, and system integration. The engineer will collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to define requirements, review schematics, validate board bring-up, and ensure seamless integration of sensors and peripherals. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, debugging and resolving software and hardware interaction issues, optimizing performance and reliability, and maintaining documentation for designs, code, and test cases. The role also includes participating in design reviews, contributing to product prototyping, and supporting the transition from prototype to production-ready solutions.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Embedded Software Programming and Embedded Software development for microcontroller- and microprocessor-based systems.
- Experience in Software Development and Software Design, including architecture definition, modular coding practices, and documentation.
- Proficiency in Debugging embedded systems, using tools such as debuggers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes to diagnose hardware-software issues.
- Solid understanding of C/C++ programming, real-time operating systems (RTOS), communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, etc.), and hardware interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with PCBA design considerations, board bring-up, and integration of sensors, peripherals, and power management solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional engineering teams, with clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic understanding of product development lifecycles; exposure to IoT and connected products is an advantage.
