Role Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle electronic design projects in LibrePCB, from schematic capture to final manufacturing outputs.
- Document and clearly articulate electrical design strategies, layout decisions, and engineering trade-offs.
- Create and manage component libraries and footprints with strong organizational standards.
- Implement effective PCB layout strategies, including component placement and trace routing.
- Perform design rule checks (DRC), verification, and troubleshooting to ensure performance and manufacturability.
- Generate manufacturing deliverables such as Gerber and drill files aligned with production standards.
- Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams while maintaining structured documentation and communication.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience completing multiple end-to-end projects in LibrePCB.
- Strong understanding of electronic design automation (EDA) tools and PCB workflows.
- Expertise in schematic capture, footprint management, component selection, and PCB layout.
- Experience organizing design libraries and maintaining thorough project documentation.
- Solid knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and file preparation standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain engineering logic clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities.
