Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a PCB Engineer located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The candidate will be responsible for PCB design, PCB assembly support, hardware integration, sensor interfacing, and troubleshooting electronic systems used in maritime and port-related applications.
The role involves schematic preparation, PCB layout design, routing, hardware testing, debugging, and coordination with embedded and integration teams to ensure reliable system performance and successful deployment of hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop PCB layouts for embedded and IoT-based hardware systems
- Prepare schematics, component placement, and multilayer PCB routing
- Support PCB assembly, soldering, and hardware bring-up activities
- Perform sensor integration and interfacing with embedded systems
- Troubleshoot and debug PCB and electronic hardware issues
- Work on power supply circuits, connectors, relays, and protection circuits
- Ensure proper wiring, grounding, shielding, and routing practices
- Validate PCB functionality through testing and diagnostics
- Coordinate with embedded firmware and hardware integration teams
- Maintain PCB documentation, BOMs, Gerber files, and design records
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities when required
- Ensure adherence to EMI/EMC and electrical safety practices
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electronics, ECE, EEE, Embedded Systems, or related field (Mandatory)
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in PCB design and hardware development
- Freshers with strong PCB and hardware project exposure can also apply
- Hands-on experience in PCB designing and PCB assembly
- Knowledge of PCB routing, multilayer board design, and schematic development
- Experience in hardware integration and sensor interfacing
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for electronic hardware
- Familiarity with ESP32 / Arduino-based systems is an added advantage
- Understanding of UART, SPI, I2C, and basic communication protocols
- Ability to use multimeter, oscilloscope, soldering equipment, and testing tools
- Knowledge of grounding, shielding, and EMI/EMC practices preferred
- Familiarity with basic system networking and IoT hardware connectivity
- Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary engineering teams
