Role Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented PCB Designer to join Surya’s MiB. The candidate will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and optimizing PCB layouts for embedded systems, IoT, and electronics product development. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and collaboration with engineering teams to deliver reliable and manufacturable PCB solutions.

The PCB Designer plays an important role in Surya’s MiB product development and engineering ecosystem by supporting Embedded Systems, IoT, R&D, and industrial product solutions. The role contributes directly to transforming concepts into real-world products through efficient PCB design and technical collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design PCB layouts for embedded, IoT, and electronic products using industry-standard tools
- Prepare schematics, PCB layouts, Gerber files, and manufacturing documents
- Ensure PCB designs meet manufacturability (DFM) and testability (DFT) standards
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and technical teams during product development
- Verify component placement, routing, signal integrity, and design optimization
- Review and troubleshoot PCB issues and implement improvements
- Maintain technical documentation and version control for design files
- Follow engineering standards, quality requirements, and project timelines
QualificationsSkills
- Good knowledge of PCB design principles and layout techniques
- Familiarity with tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad, Eagle, or similar software
- Understanding of electronic components, schematics, and embedded hardware systems
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Education
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in ECE, EEE, E&I, Mechatronics, or related fields
Experience
- 6 Months to 1 Year of experience in PCB Design preferred
- Freshers with strong practical PCB design skills may also apply
