Job DescriptionZerowings Aerospace is looking for a PCB Design Intern to support the development of avionics electronics and embedded hardware for UAV platforms. The role involves designing and validating printed circuit boards used in drone subsystems and mission electronics.
Responsibilities• Design and layout multi-layer PCBs for UAV electronics and avionics modules using KiCad or similar tools
• Translate circuit schematics into optimized and manufacturable board layouts
• Apply signal integrity practices including impedance control, differential pair routing, and grounding strategies
• Generate manufacturing outputs such as Gerber files, drill files, pick-and-place data, and BOMs
• Perform design rule checks and participate in engineering design reviews
• Coordinate with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors for design-for-manufacturability compliance
• Support hardware bring-up, prototyping, and debugging of assembled boards
• Maintain organized design files, component libraries, and documentation
Requirements• B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, ECE, or related fields (Final Year or Recent Graduate)
• Familiarity with PCB design tools such as KiCad, Altium, or Eagle
• Understanding of high-speed digital design fundamentals including impedance routing and decoupling
• Basic exposure to RF PCB concepts such as grounding, shielding, and transmission lines
• Ability to read circuit schematics and component datasheets
• Strong attention to detail and systematic problem-solving approach
Compensation & BenefitsStipend: ₹15,000/month for the first 3 months
Extension possible based on performance.
