About the role
The PCAOB Business Process Innovation (BPI) Summer Intern will support the BPI team within the Enterprise Strategy and Project Management Office (ESPMO) of the Office of the Chief Operating Officer (OCOO). This role focuses on process improvement initiatives and program management duties, providing the intern with hands-on experience in business analysis and business process management. The position requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a collaborative environment and contribute meaningfully to the team's objectives.
Responsibilities
Attend requirements and process working sessions to assist the BPI team with capturing and interpreting stakeholder input.
Assist with the maintenance of the enterprise business process repository.
Assist with development of process data reports.
Contribute to BPI team brainstorming sessions.
Assist in development of communications and presentations to stakeholders.
Participate in special projects or other team assignments, as needed.
Requirements
Current academic enrollment at the undergraduate (junior or above) or graduate level, pursuing a degree in business administration or an MBA.
Completion of intermediate courses in strategic planning, data analytics, program, or project management is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint Online.
Basic knowledge of data analysis and visualization, such as flowcharting.
Excellent analytical, research, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Possesses curiosity skills: the desire to learn, explore, discover, and grow.
Demonstrates a willingness to test new processes and technologies as potential solutions for business clients.
