We Are Hiring: PBX / VoIP & Networking Engineer (Remote – Global)

Ravan.ai is building advanced AI-powered telecom and real-time communication infrastructure. We are looking for a skilled PBX / VoIP & Networking Engineer with strong experience in telephony systems and network infrastructure to join our team.
This role involves working on modern communication systems, VoIP infrastructure, and real-time media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and maintain PBX systems including Asterisk, FreePBX, and 3CX
• Configure and manage SIP trunking, dial plans, IVR systems, and call routing
• Work with WebRTC infrastructure and LiveKit for real-time communication services
• Troubleshoot VoIP issues related to SIP, RTP, NAT, and firewall configurations
• Monitor and optimize voice quality, latency, jitter, and packet loss
• Configure and maintain network infrastructure such as routers, switches, and firewalls
• Manage networking components including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and NAT policies
• Deploy and maintain Linux-based servers used for telecom services
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support telecom integrations and APIs
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of telecom systems
Required Skills
• Hands-on experience with IP PBX / VoIP platforms such as Asterisk, FreePBX, 3CX, or similar systems
• Strong understanding of VoIP protocols including SIP, RTP, and WebRTC
• Experience working with LiveKit or other real-time communication platforms
• Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, NAT, VLAN, VPN, DNS, and firewall configuration
• Experience working in Linux server environments
• Ability to troubleshoot network and voice quality issues in production environments
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with cloud-based telephony infrastructure
• Familiarity with real-time media streaming technologies
• Experience integrating telecom systems with APIs or AI-driven platforms
• Experience with monitoring and performance analysis tools
