About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and coordinating between business and technology teams. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in FinTech, payments, banking, or financial software, with a strong understanding of APIs, system workflows, and product lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and technical workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA teams to translate business needs into clear technical requirements.
• Create use cases, process flow diagrams, BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.
• Analyze existing systems and suggest improvements based on user feedback and business needs.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
• Support UAT planning, execution, defect tracking, and release readiness.
• Work with stakeholders to understand integration requirements for APIs, payment gateways, and digital transaction systems.
• Conduct data analysis and generate insights to support product decisions.
• Maintain documentation across product versions and changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst (FinTech preferred).
• Strong understanding of payments, banking systems, wallets, UPI, or digital transaction flows (preferred).
• Ability to understand technical concepts including APIs, databases, and software architecture.
• Experience writing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and workflow diagrams.
• Knowledge of tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, MS Visio, Postman, or similar.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with tech and business teams.

Good to Have

• Experience with SQL or basic data querying
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
• Exposure to cybersecurity or compliance frameworks in FinTech
• Understanding of cloud-based solutions
