Payroll Specialist
Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Location: Kolkata
Exp Range: 6-8 Years
Only Work from Office (No Hybrid, No Remote, No Work from Home)
Shift Timing: Should be comfortable with night (US) & Rotational Shifts

Eligibility:
• Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10 + 2 + 3)
• Should be flexible with night shifts & rotation shifts
Knowledge & Experience
- Working Experience of 6-8 years for ANZ Geo.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM (mandatory), Workday, MYOB
- Good knowledge of ANZ payroll legislation & payroll pay elements
- Should be able to manually calculate Gross to Net and handle complex payroll calculations, such as priority term redundancy
- Should be able to manually calculate Arrears, Retro Pay, Tax balance adjustment etc.
- Processing employee payroll as per pay elements/ pay frequency & payroll calendars
- Experience in Hire to retire HR transactions EDM, HR Admin, lodgments, Payroll Processing & Accounting
- Good working experience of timesheet processing, Statutory leaves, OT etc.
- Calculation, Processing and Auditing for LOA/ SCI/ Al-Encashment/ LSL
- Calculation, processing and Auditing of Overpayment/ Underpayment
- Validation of New Hires set up/ DD & term files checks.
- Alter employee tax status as needed as well as any information about withholding
- Prepare manual checks for distribution to employees under Ad hoc as necessary on interface failures
- Maintain compliant policies and procedures for processing payroll checks
- Experience in post payroll recon and balancing of audit and GL reports
- Worked on Quarter End / Year End Tax processing / Lodgments
- Worked on SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) Audit and helped auditors with their audit.
- Preparing and publishing weekly and monthly reports
Formal Education & Certification
- Bachelor / Master’s degree in any discipline
- Basic computer knowledge required (MS- Office Applications)
- Proven ability to adapt to new tools by applying logical approach
Skill Set
- HRO Experience in ANZ Geo
- Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM (mandatory), Workday
- Ability to Work on a Deadline and handle pressure
- Strong email and voice communication skills
- Strong communication, problem solving and resolution skills.
- Must be able to multi-task, maintain confidentiality, work independently, and have good organizational skills.
- Must have good experience and exposure in direct or telephonic communication with onshore clients
Working Conditions
- Occasional extended work hours to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work 24*7 shift timings.
- Ability to deliver effective training sessions.
