About the Role
We are looking for a Payroll Specialist with strong hands-on experience in managing end-to-end payroll operations and statutory payroll compliance.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Indian payroll processes, statutory deductions, payroll compliance, and employee lifecycle management. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees across multiple entities and clients.
- Collect, validate, and process monthly payroll inputs including attendance, leave, incentives, bonuses, reimbursements, and deductions.
- Calculate and process salaries, statutory deductions, and payroll adjustments accurately.
- Handle payroll-related statutory compliances including PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, and other applicable requirements.
- Prepare and review payroll reports, salary registers, payroll summaries, and reconciliation statements.
- Coordinate with finance and HR teams to ensure timely payroll processing and salary disbursement.
- Manage employee payroll queries and resolve salary, deductions, tax, and statutory-related issues.
- Support employee onboarding, exits, full and final settlements, and other payroll-related activities.
- Assist with payroll audits, reconciliations, and statutory inspections when required.
- Ensure payroll records and employee data are accurate, updated, and properly maintained.
- Stay updated with changes in payroll laws, labour laws, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Work with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely payroll operations.
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of relevant experience in payroll processing and payroll compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Indian payroll and statutory compliances.
- Hands-on experience with PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, and payroll-related filings.
- Experience managing payroll for multiple entities or clients will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of payroll calculations, salary structures, deductions, and reimbursements.
- Strong skills in MS Excel and familiarity with payroll software.
- Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage confidential employee and payroll information.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple payroll deadlines.
