Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Processor to manage and execute end-to-end payroll operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with applicable laws, maintain employee payroll records, and handle payroll-related queries efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll Execution: Process regular payroll cycles, including the calculation of wages, additional allowances, bonuses, and mandatory deductions (TDS, PF, ESI, etc.)
- Verification: Verification of Leaves and records
- Compliance: Ensure all payroll activities align with labor laws and tax regulations; assist with year-end processes, including tax filings and Form 16 distribution.
- Data Management: Maintain up-to-date employee records and coordinate with HR teams to reflect new hires, terminations, or salary adjustments.
· Inquiry Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related employee queries.
· Reporting: Generate comprehensive payroll reports for review. Posting payroll journals in the ERP system.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Knowledge of payroll software (e.g., SAP, Grey HR, Workday, or similar tools)
- Familiarity with statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.)
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
· Experience implementing or managing automated payroll systems.
· In-depth understanding of evolving labor laws and compliance trends.
· Strong communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.
