Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Payroll Executive, based in Bangalore Urban. The Payroll Executive will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, preparing salary statements, maintaining employee records, and assisting with queries related to payroll. The role will also involve collaborating with the HR and finance teams to execute payroll operations efficiently and accurately.
Qualifications
- Preparation and processing of monthly payroll for employees in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Calculation of salaries, incentives, overtime, deductions, and net pay.
- Computation and reconciliation of monthly payroll taxes before processing.
- Handling statutory compliances including EPF, ESI, Professional Tax, and Income Tax (TDS).
- Filing of monthly EPF, ESI, PT returns and quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q) within due dates.
- Preparation and generation of pay slips, challans, and statutory reports.
- Managing year-start and year-end processes, including investment declarations, proof verification, Form 16 preparation, and final tax computation.
- Coordinating with employees to resolve payroll-related queries and discrepancies.
- Ensuring accuracy of payroll data and maintaining proper documentation and records.
- Liaising with HR and finance teams for employee data updates such as new joiners, exits, salary revisions, and leave records.
- Supporting internal and statutory audits related to payroll and compliance.
