PAYROLL & COMPLIANCE EXECUTIVE
A Payroll and Compliance Executive manages end-to-end salary processing and ensures adherence to statutory regulations like PF, ESI, and TDS. This role involves maintaining accurate employee data, filing statutory returns, conducting audits, and resolving payroll queries, ensuring financial integrity and legal compliance
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Payroll Processing: Manage the full payroll cycle, including calculating wages, salary structure, overtime, and deductions.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely filing of PF (Provident Fund), ESI (Employee State Insurance), PT (Professional Tax), and TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) returns.
- Records Maintenance: Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee data, including attendance, leave, and payroll records.
- Audit & Reporting: Conduct internal audits of payroll systems and generate monthly reports for management.
- Employee Queries: Address and resolve payroll-related queries promptly.
- Tax Compliance: Calculate and deduct taxes, handle Form 16 issuance, and manage TDS payments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Generally 4–6 years of experience in payroll management and compliance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., HRM Software) and MS Excel.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of local labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to handle datasets accurately.
- Confidentiality: High level of integrity.
- Education: MBA or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field.
